We are committed to providing safe, secure, and well-maintained homes for our residents. We have robust arrangements in place to manage health and safety across all our properties, in line with regulatory expectations and legal requirements.

FirstPort oversees health and safety compliance ensuring we meet all relevant legislation and guidance. Our approach includes regular risk assessments, property inspections and compliance checks covering gas safety, electrical safety, fire safety and building safety.

We also monitor contractor performance to ensure all works carried out are to a high standard. We are committed to continuous improvement and to meeting the standards set by the Regulator of Social Housing to protect our residents and communities.
